well technically my foot isn't broken but its sounds more impressive then 'my ligament tore a piece of bone off'
either way i'm in a cast up to my knee, it's bright purple. hot. i had asked for royal blue to support my soccer team but they didn't have any.
i've never been in a cast before. i have no idea why kids want them and are jealous of their friends who have them. THEY SUCK. crutches are they most uncomfortable things to use, casts make being comfy in bed such a struggle, and eventhough i was told by the physio not to put anything in the cast - ie. a ruler cos i have an itch - i can't help it! it's so frustrating, i tried using the power of the mind, imagining calm waters and non itchy things.... doesn't work. i've used rulers, paint brushes, screwdrivers, toy guns - anything to get at that itch!!

suddenly, while i was minding my own business lying on the bed checking my email on the laptop, i felt something drop on the bed beside me. i look around and it's the lightbulb from the ceiling light..... ??? .... is this a sign? is someone trying to tell me something? or did i just have a brilliant idea?
it's very strange, lightbulbs usually don't just fall out.....
