ryan just made himself a peanut butter sandwich, whish is fine, BUT he put both peanut butter AND nuttelex (margarine) on the bread.....
it's just plain wrong.
peanut butter doesn't need anything but itself....
Posted by erin at October 26, 2003 11:54 AMNo. You're wrong. I've been doing it that way my whole life and I'll be damned if I've been wrong all that time.
Posted by: Ryan at October 26, 2003 12:57 PMI"m with ryan you have to put margarine on all bread regardless of the topping. even lemon butter still needs margarine under it.
Posted by: howie at October 26, 2003 05:15 PMwell amy agrees with me.

Posted by: Willem at October 27, 2003 06:42 PMThe thought of all that fat sliding ontop of the other in layers, made me queasy. Pick your butter, stick with it. Don't get fancy *s*
Posted by: Red at October 30, 2003 11:00 AMHi to Erin with one r. Nice to meet you today.
I was just thinking, regarding peanut butter - i will totally have nuttelex on my sandwich if the bread is stale or toasted. But if fresh bread is at hand, nuttelex is definitely wrong.
Just my opinion. Don't hold it against me.
I'm with Ryan. More buttery things all the way.

Margarines made exclusively with polyunsaturated fats like sunflower and canola contain trans fatty acids and other altered fats as a result of the hydrogenation process. Such margarines have been banned by the Dutch and German
Governments because of the serious implications for health obesity, cardiovascular disease and arthritis to name a few. If you value your health I suggest you look into this. A very interesting reference is by Udo Erasmus, a Canadian expert. His book is called Fats that Heal Fats that Kill. Lucia
