ok so ryan set up movabletype for me.
it's a bit strange but also looks quite jazzy. well, here, where i'm typing, in the lounge of movabletype it looks nice - my blog still looks the same except for a bit of a sidebar issue.
You need to upload gifs or jpgs instead of bmps. Bitmaps don't work in browsers very well. And you need to nest your tags like <title>abitofanish</title> making sure you have a forward slash in the second part.
